Lucy Schwartz has been dabbling in the visual arts since the early sixties. She has won several awards in Texas as a young adult. Lucy won a 4th place in 2000 and a honorable mention in the 2011 Puallup Fair. She is actively showing her work at the Freight House Square Art Gallery in Tacoma off and on for 10 years. She studied art at Junion College in Dallas and learned from many teachers from Texas, Arizona, California and Washington. She has 46 years with the brush. Currently she holds the honor of being Arts Commissioner for Pierce County Dist. One. Also an avid Art Quilter and fabric artist in Bonney Lake area. Single with 2 grown kids here in Washington.
