Meghan Lancaster is new to Tacoma, though a long-time resident of the Puget Sound area. Primarily a textile artist, she is an active member and volunteer at the Tacoma Art Place, where she acts as gallery curator. She recently taught design fundamentals and black & white photography at an Arizona college for several years, before escaping back to the Pacific Northwest. The Chair Affair has a very special meaning for her, since she has a long history of rescuing stray chairs found abandoned on the parking strips of cities up and down the West Coast of America
