Eileen Schurer was born in Midland, TX. Influenced at an early age by her mother’s watercolor art and her grandparents who were eccentric and took her on many trips. Eileen grew up in Florida and then moved to Denver with her husband Mark, where she lived and worked in the printing industry for ten years before having their son Jules. They recently moved to Gig Harbor, Washington. Influenced by nature and art found in her surroundings, she is a self-taught artist who paints, sews, and loves to play with lots of mediums. Although, art has been a grounding force through her life, it is only recently that Eileen has started painting more seriously. You can see her work at: http://eileenscreativespot.blogspot.com/
