One of a kind pieces.... functional art.... recycled vintage treasures... chairs that not only invite you to sit, but hopefully make you smile. It is my passion to take something well loved or worn out and re-design it to make it functional and beautiful again. Over the last 35 years I have worked with all kinds of fabrics, wood, and sheet metal. I started in the upholstery trade as a way to continue to explore my creative side, use decades of sewing experience, and stay true to my passion for recycling. I couldn't find upholstery training or schools available in the Pacific Northwest so I spent the first few years teaching myself, but in 2012 a well timed opportunity allowed me to attend months of training at a school in San Diego, fine tuning my skills and teaching me some much appreciated tricks of the trade. In 2013 Spring Fever Upholstery Redesign was established. In December of 2014 I had the opportunity to join with a group of local furniture designer/makers in a beautiful showroom REVIVE located in Tacoma. I hope you will have the opportunity to stop in sometime.
