This year we rescued a chair from Goodwill.  It is made by the Douglas Furniture Co. of California from the 1970's.  We thought that the shape of the chair and its retro vibe was calling for a bit of funk!  

We chose to hand cut stripes of Merino long wool sheepskin in white, champagne, pink, blue, and green to create our fabric.

Mid Century Mod

We chose the timeless lines of the Mid Century Modern chair to compliment our Merino wool Sheepskin From Australia. The chair, custom-made pillow and Merino Longwool rug will fit into most home or office décor, including “man caves”, trending now. In addition to using our high quality Australian sheepskin:

-         We custom ordered commercial grade foam cushions

-         Added new leather support straps

-         Designed the pillow using Merino Longwool sheepskin and suede cowhide

 Our chair is from the 1960’s and still retains its integrity as a quality piece of furniture, ready to last many more years.
