Hughes, Kristina
My name is Kristina Hughes, designer of "Midnight in Paris." I graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle with my AAA in Fashion Marketing. I am a city girl at heart. Bright lights, high rises, and shoes feed my soul, but nothing compares to the love I have for texture and color. I love to explore different design techniques and really developing my signature style of design in the form of painting and fashion. Just hand me a paint brush, a bare canvas, and some sparkle and I will transform my vision into a reality. If you too share a love for art that sparkles email me, HughesKristina@Hotmail.com.

I have always wanted to go to Paris, France, mainly because I am a sucker for polka-dots, black and white stripes, and anything that sparkles. I wanted to capture my vision of Parisian décor and make it come to life with this elegant chair. I was diligent in my use of detail from the metallic-silver handles with a glitter finish so dazzling one could imagine standing on the streets of Paris, to the miniature Eiffel Tower charm accented with charcoal-grey glass beads. A pearl necklace drapes from the cluster of bows giving the chair an extra classy touch, paired with a hint of tulle, which embellishes the left handle. Black organza accents the skirt of the chair adding a frilly touch. If I were to spend a night in Paris, this is a chair that I would hope to find in a high-end hotel where lovers dine in the city of love.
