Little, Renee/ Hulst, Mike

We were both born and raised in Northern Minnesota.  We have lived in Washington for a total of 15 years.  We first moved to Eastern Washington and lived in Kettle Falls for 5 years, moved to Fircrest for 5 years, and now Gig Harbor for 5 years.

Renee is a crafting wizard.  She has specialized in crocheting and loves Halloween decorations.  Mike is an engineer and has zero craft skills.  Together, we make a fantastic team with the creative/technical balance.  This chair is serial #1 for us so we thank you for your interest in it.

Wine Barrel Adirondack Chair

This chair was constructed using a retired wine barrel from a Northern California winery.  The Oak barrel was originally constructed by Tonnellerie Sirugue in Nuits-St. George, France.  One wine barrel was required for constructing this chair.

The red colors on the wood staves are stains from the red wine making process.  A clear coat sealer has been applied to keep the original colors of the French Oak wood.

We chose the wine barrel as the base materials as a way to recycle and give the barrel new life as it was retired from its wine making services.
