This chair was inspired by the art of appliqué used by so many quilters.  The hundreds of small pieces applied to the chair have been gathered from the many prized quilt books collected over the years by artist Lucy Rau, Creative Endeavors.  Materials used are paper, paint and spray sealer.  The seat is padded with a cloth covering.
