When this little rocker chose me, my first thought was that it wanted to represent Noah’s Ark, my favorite childhood Bible story. From that initial vision, it morphed into other ideas, finally returning to the original. The result is a whimsical reminder that the many colored world in which we live is populated by creatures large and small, tame and wild – all of whom depend upon our caring for the world in which we live -- and we have the rainbow that we may know beauty.I set My rainbow in the clouds and it shall be the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. Genesis 9:13Many thanks to my friend Kathaleen O’Brien for her work on the Ark. It is my hope that my little creation will go to a family that will consider it a treasure.
