Storage – we all need it….some of us crave it – there’s never enough. This gem is a roomy Cedar chest that suffered from ho humness. Now with layers of butterscotch, crème and ginger paint, it is a real sweetie. Add the bouquets of gorgeous flowers, and you have a piece of art that can sit proudly in any part of your home.Several layers of matte varnish were used all around, to keep the surface usable, but to impart that warm satiny softness of worn aged wood. Whether in your living room as a coffee table, at the foot of your bed for those extra blankets, or in your combo office- guest room, You will enjoy the beauty and usefulness of this Sweet Garden Surprise. P.s. All four sides are decorated so it can be placed anywhere!!!!
Dotty Fun

This sweet set was created in fun and is meant to bring smiles when you look at it, …If you are a perfectionist – don’t pick this set as there is nothing “perfect” here. No rulers, stencils, patterns or any mechanical aids went into creating these bursts of color. Using “pointillism” each dot of color was individually applied…dip-dot-dip-dot... Soooo there are crooked, wavy lines, shifty dots, uneven spaces, but also lots of color and fun. and yes the artist may have gone a little dotty doing it!!!

THE Chair

Take home some NorthWest Spirit!!! I took a cold hard modern swivel chair, and injected it with the Spirit of the Northwest. It is carved to look and feel like a handcrafted treasure found in a Mountain Man’s cabin, and the seat, painted to look like old leather is carved to capture the Spirit of the Northwest – the Sea Hawk – representing both the Native American Spirit and the Seahawk Team Spirit, and in it’s eye of course is Mt. Rainier. The carving is taken from a painting I created last year, that was inspired by the Kwakwaka'wakw mask. The painting and several of my Northwest Spirit handpainted ornaments were included in the Mary Bridges Festival of Trees Sea Hawk Tree Package that auctioned for $46,000.
