Upcycled Punctuation

Upcycled Punctuation was inspired by the simplicity of the symbols we use in English writing, and how these symbols translate into art. Where often times there is an overuse of commas and wasteful exclamation points, this modernized coffee table has trimmed away the excess and is purposefully made of all recycled materials. The sheet-metal base was originally a broken metal cabinet, the tabletop is an old set of pine planks handcrafted together, and the feet are small sections of a hand-railing.

When all of these elements come together, one can imagine each punctuation mark (the question, the comma, the quotation, and the ellipses) as being a part of the creative process, leading us eventually to the embossed exclamation mark on the top, which is visible only when exposed to light. Upcycled Punctuation hopes to inspire and make a distinct mark in your living space.
