Seabury School

Seabury School is an independent school serving highly capable children from preschool through middle school. The Lower School is located in the Brown’s Point neighborhood of Northeast Tacoma.

The Seabury Service Club donates time and effort to better their community. They have participated in the Hunger Walk, raised funds for Pakistan Relief, made holiday cards for nursing home residents and sponsored school wide food and toy drives. They are happy to participate in the Chair Affair with their contribution “Oh the Places You’ll Go!”

This chair is meant for a nursery or child’s room. This chair was made by children and represents letting a child’s imagination soar, like the red balloons on it flying through the white clouds!

As fourth graders we are constantly thinking about the future and what it will hold for us. We worry about the environment, economy, the wars, but we also know we are at a great school, getting a great education and that our future is going to be incredible. 

We have always loved Dr. Seuss and we’re inspired by his book Oh, the Places You’ll Go! It’s a great reminder of how bright our futures will be. We better buy some shades!
