 Mrs Adam’s Kindergarten class at Stanley Elementary has worked hard at painting and printing the alphabet on this rocking chair. Each student learned painting techniques and some color theory to make this chair a success! Hands worked hard at sanding down the chair and painting it bright colors. The students then used a pen to write one upper and one lower case letter of the alphabet. 

Friendship Bench

 Students in Mrs Root’s 1st grade class at Stanley Elementary made a friendship bench using paint markers! Students each came up with their own sentence of what a ‘good friend; is to them. Many discussions happened around the golden rule and what it means to be a good friend. We hope that this bench will be shared to make new friends, celebrate good friends, and remember what it means to be a friend!
