Ann has her creative roots in Music and Drama. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and appeared on Broadway in “Hail Scrawdyke” directed by Alan Arkin and in the musical Caberet. She appeared in the film “Caged Heat” directed by Jonathan Demme.
Her Love Affair with Color began her career in Visual Arts
in 88’ and her work has been the subject of a One Woman Show at the prestigious Frye Art Museum in Seattle. Prints of her tropical works on silk can be seen on the Princess Cruise Line and some of her original oil paintings can be seen in hotels in Florida, Mexico and California, where she moved after living in London. Her city of origin is Miami although she and her husband now live in the Pacific NW.
While in Hollywood, Ann recorded many of her original songs with Dave Frishberg and was accompanied on a few recordings by Mac Rebanac (Dr.John) and once with Steve Winwood.
She has just released her third CD of original tunes entitled “Plenty of Magic” and is continuing to write and record. Ann says: “We, in this human experience, are at a Crossroads. We risk all the Beauty and Elegance of this Earthy Life by Non Love. My Paintings and Songs are my offering towards the Healing of our Planet. Let Us Celebrate Life. Trust, Love, Dance, Paint, Laugh and Believe. Let’s let the Breath of Life Harmonize Us in this Creative Universe. In Awe, Let us Share the Fullness of the Sacred Flame.”

After cleaning the chair for a few hours, I decided on painting it with oil paints. That is my main media. I paint in the spirit of the moment, so I just went with the flow….after painting aqua it felt natural to pair it with magenta.
