Webster, Drew

While he has always had a creative outlet of some kind, Drew has recently been inspired by a new medium; reclaimed wood. For the last several months, his home has been littered with scraps of paper of original renderings for anything from light fixtures to farmhouse-worthy tables. With wood collected from neighbor's fences to the shores of Salmon Beach, Drew finds (and brings home) his wood inspirations. This is his first attempt at making one of his renderings come to life. His next plans include triple bunkbeds for his three daughters.

Wooden Cart on Casters

This is a semi-industrial cart made of distressed wood and black pipe on casters. Of the piece, Drew says, "I was inspired by the juxtaposition of the old and exclusively functional material with the new and aesthetically pleasing appearance. Materials that would otherwise not be assembled this way combine for purpose AND beauty." This cart works perfectly as a bedside table or end table in a living space. It is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
